Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at TravelCenters of America, you'll play a vital role in delivering a memorable experience to our guests. You'll be responsible for providing top-notch service, ensuring that every guest leaves feeling satisfied and eager to return.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu offerings, promotions, and company initiatives to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition of shifts.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.


Requirements:


  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
  • Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Physical Demands:

This role requires regular standing, walking, and talking. You'll also be required to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy objects occasionally. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.



Work Environment:

You'll work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to outdoor elements in all seasons. You may also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud at times, and you'll be required to work in a clean and safe environment.
