Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with business accounts and source new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Negotiate sales contracts effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain corporate business files, records, correspondence, and reports to ensure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Utilize hotel software for catering sales, such as Daylight or Delphi, to manage sales activities and track performance metrics.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times and maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of hotel sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required, with proficiency in hotel software for catering sales also necessary.

Work Environment

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. The employee may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including second-hand smoke and excessive noise. The ability to communicate effectively with guests in English is essential for this position.

Closing

Seminole Gaming gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
