Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support services to clients, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the supplier's team to deliver high-quality support services, adhering to customer security compliance requirements.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of enterprise LAN and WAN setups, as well as concepts related to smart hand support.
  • Provide desk-side support and PC break/fix services, including basic administration of Windows O/S and Mac O/S support where required.
  • Lead the supplier's team in providing smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management, ensuring excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and access control standards, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Support OSS dispatch and scheduled visit sites, working closely with the central team from the lead supplier.

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of experience in providing IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals.
  • Ability to follow installation instructions and troubleshoot desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
  • Skilled in desk-side support and PC break/fix, including basic administration of Windows O/S and Mac O/S support where required.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification and an Associate's Degree in Electronics are preferred.
