Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students, resolving Tier 1 IT support tickets in Zendesk.
  • Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data.
  • Complete assigned work tasks, both corrective and preventative, as directed by the IT Manager.
  • Provide superior customer service at all times in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Coordinate with Center Property Officer and Property Custodians to ensure management and control of Centers technology equipment.
  • Compile accurate and thorough summary information for management reports as required.
  • Respond in a timely manner to Corporate IT requests.
  • Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
  • Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities.
  • Mentor, monitor and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
  • Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
  • Provide quality services for students and ensure that quality is maintained and student needs are met.
  • Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts.
  • Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas, identify problems, analyze causes and evaluate appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions.
  • Work in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware and software.
  • One to two years direct experience working with Windows 10, MS Office, Networking and TCP/IP Connectivity preferred.
  • Citrix and Cisco VoIP experience a plus.
  • Good problem solving, analytical and team-working skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
