Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Lead Service Technician who possesses extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing machinery, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components, especially in the realm of material handling equipment. In this pivotal role, you will deliver expert technical support and troubleshooting services to our clientele, ensuring peak performance and satisfaction. Collaboration with our engineering and product development teams will be essential to foster continuous enhancements in our service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance: Deliver both remote and on-site technical assistance, swiftly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical challenges for clients and dealers.
  • Parts Assistance: Aid customers in accurately identifying and selecting the appropriate spare parts.
  • Field Support: Provide support to external service engineers in addressing and resolving mechanical and hydraulic issues on-site.
  • Repair Duties: Conduct hands-on repairs of client machinery at customer locations and MasterMover facilities.
  • Demo Fleet Oversight: Ensure the demo fleet is maintained in optimal working order, ready for sales demonstrations and activities.
  • Knowledge Development: Create and sustain a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues and solutions to improve service efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven technical field service experience, particularly with material handling equipment and hydraulic systems; familiarity with automation is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in diagnosing and resolving intricate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Customer Orientation: A proactive approach to customer service with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites across North America.
