Your Role:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering first-level and some second-level assistance to users facing IT and Business Application Systems challenges. Your duties will include:
  • Diagnosing and resolving reported issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.
  • Utilizing established troubleshooting methods to swiftly identify issues, seeking help when required.
  • Maintaining and supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software for both corporate and remote personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks will encompass:
  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Managing user accounts, including the creation, modification, and deletion of accounts, passwords, and security permissions.
  • Providing operational support, which may involve gathering and reporting performance metrics, monitoring error logs, and overseeing backup processes.

  • The ability to understand the requirements of a regulated environment.
  • Availability for on-call support, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware and network connectivity.
  • Preferred certifications such as A+/Network+ or a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
