Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales initiatives, training and developing Sales Representatives, and executing all sales/promotional programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, train, and direct sales teams to achieve sales goals, placement objectives, and ensure company standards are met.
  • Conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts.
  • Survey market areas to detect business trends and opportunities for new products or applications.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and plan for sales activities by forecasting conditions, defining objectives, and securing resources.
  • Control and manage sales performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating, and correcting performance, and administering policies and procedures.
  • Organize teams by structuring territories, delegating work, and staffing positions.
  • Provide leadership in making decisions, developing personnel, communicating with, and motivating staff.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings to disseminate supplier information, product, and sales training, and obtain feedback on sales and promotional activities.
  • Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree, preferred; one to two years of management experience in the adult beverage industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and order processing systems or the aptitude to learn.
  • Requires a current, valid state driver's license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
  • The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
