  • Manage daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes, accounts payable/receivable, fixed asset management, and financial reporting.
  • Administer multiple complex grants, ensuring budgets are adhered to, allowable costs are reimbursed, and cash reserves are maintained.
  • Monitor the financial performance of health plans and adjust employer-paid premiums as necessary.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, creating systems to align budget forecasts with actual performance.
  • Utilize financial software to generate comprehensive reports and enable directors to monitor their budgets effectively.
  • Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures that reflect current regulations and enhance internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible financial experience.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience.
  • Experience in non-profit accounting is preferred.
