Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive and proactive 'Patients First' experience for all patients and visitors.
  • Utilize the HEART model to investigate, triage, and resolve patient concerns effectively.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional atmosphere, ensuring exceptional patient interactions.
  • Handle patient registration, prepare for visits, conduct telephone triage, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and manage patient records.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating interpreter services as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information diligently.
  • Educate patients on utilizing MyChart and Appointment Pass.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, or customer service. Alternatively, an associate's degree with one year of experience or a bachelor's degree is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
