Building Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at T.Y. Lin International. As a key member of our Structural Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of complex building projects, utilizing your expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and other building systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement structural design solutions for a wide range of building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations to document existing building conditions and identify potential structural issues.
- Lead project teams and provide guidance to junior engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Maintain professional certifications and stay up-to-date with industry developments through ongoing education and training.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Master's Degree or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and analysis.
- Proficiency in computer analysis software, such as RISA, SAP, and RAM.
- Working knowledge of REVIT and other building information modeling (BIM) tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
