Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Transport Specialist to join our team at Carvana. As a key member of our Lot Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles to and from our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Transportation: Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, adhering to auction driving rules, rules of the road, and demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.
  • Vehicle Management: Verify VINs of cars being picked up and delivered against transportation requests, and line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager or Team Leader.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inflate tires, jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank, and notify the Lot Manager when vehicles are inoperable.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers, including dealers, account reps, and co-workers, as needed.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform walk-arounds on each vehicle prior to moving it and note any damage.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills: Required for performing tasks and communicating with the team.
  • Weather Adaptability: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Vehicle Operation: Ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles, preferred.
  • Age and License: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
