Position Summary:
We are in search of a talented Innovation Engineer to become a vital part of our team. Utilize your engineering design and project management expertise, coupled with your manufacturing knowledge, to create groundbreaking processes and equipment.

This role involves engagement in both large-scale and smaller projects, providing an opportunity to significantly influence our global operations. It is an excellent chance for extensive exposure and professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
This engineer will take charge of the conception, design, installation, and commissioning of production and process equipment across our global manufacturing facilities.

  • Employ creative problem-solving techniques with emerging technologies to transform existing processes and develop new products, ensuring our leadership in the market.
  • Design electromechanical machines, leveraging your understanding of mechanical systems and industrial controls to produce high-efficiency, high-quality production equipment.
  • Manage projects effectively by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scope, budget, and timelines, executing projects that surpass customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, environmental health and safety, management, internal clients, and suppliers, to devise cost-effective solutions that meet design specifications.
  • Communicate and coordinate efficiently with internal manufacturing teams, product development units, external suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Apply robust technical skills across all project phases, including planning, solution development, equipment specification, design, and startup.
  • Identify and assess new technologies for integration into existing processes to enhance yield, boost throughput, and reduce costs.
  • Document design intentions clearly and develop contingency plans to mitigate project risks.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine design and project engineering.
  • Proven ability to effectively apply technical and project management skills to successfully complete multiple projects.
  • Preference for candidates with a blend of mechanical and electrical engineering expertise.
  • Experience with servo motion control and robotics is highly desirable.
  • Electrical engineers should possess a strong understanding of HMI, PLC, Servo Drives, VFDs, Industrial Networks, and Temperature Control Systems integration and programming.
  • Mechanical engineers should demonstrate strong 3D design capabilities and experience with engineering tools such as SolidWorks, Matlab, and FEA/CFD Simulation.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
  • Experience in manufacturing, plastic packaging, or extrusion is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating initiative and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A valid driver's license and passport are necessary.
