Position SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Project Manager in civil or environmental engineering with expertise in solid waste, water and wastewater, or mining engineering. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple projects from conception through to successful completion. The Project Manager will engage with all project facets, including clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Submit weekly timesheets and expense reports.
- Provide signature authority at designated thresholds.
- Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and identify necessary resources for project completion.
- Develop project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Review project deliverables to maintain quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with the primary client contact.
- Prepare and review proposals and project change requests prior to client submission.
- Review and approve monthly project invoices.
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required in any state.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience as an Environmental Consultant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven project management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in areas such as:
- Industrial solid waste landfill design and operations.
- Waste handling and beneficial reuse of residuals.
- Stormwater and wastewater management systems.
- Regulatory compliance in solid waste and environmental controls.
- Support for environmental remediation projects.
- Water and wastewater permitting and design.
