We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team at Vaco. This is a temporary position that will be responsible for handling a client base of commercial and residential properties in the New York City area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare general ledger journal entries for buildings and create monthly cash flow reports to present to management.
  • Annual Budgets: Oversight of annual budgets for all properties, including CAM and real estate tax reconciliations.
  • Audits: Assist with year-end audits by providing schedules for audit and tax purposes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience within the real estate industry.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency with Yardi required, and expertise working with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or MBA preferred.
