About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits. As a key member of our ecommerce team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our systems and technology that are released into production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality assurance activities, including testing, documentation, and validation, to ensure the product meets business requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and defect management processes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with Agile scrum teams to ensure quality and deliverables meet business objectives.
  • Participate in story grooming sessions to develop effective test plans and coverage.
  • Own all testing activities, including test planning, test case writing, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
  • Execute story-level, integration, and end-to-end testing across the Commercial eCommerce area.
  • Plan and build automation within the sprint to certify stories from a quality and performance perspective.
  • Represent the test engineering team in all sprint ceremonies, including cross-functional and business teams.
  • Participate in implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment through automated tests.
  • Collaborate with product owners and development teams to triage and resolve reported issues.
  • Manage daily review and analysis of automated test results and reporting.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of combined experience in a Retail B2B or B2C ecommerce business and/or Information Technology in Quality Engineering/testing role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other industry-related curriculum.
  • Expertise and working experience in SAP Hybris eCommerce (including Backoffice).
  • Experience with ecommerce flows such as Product Search, Product Listing, Product details page, Cart, Checkout, Order submission/order history.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Extensive experience in working in Agile Methodology of software development.
  • Experience with Tricentis TOSCA or Selenium or equivalent technologies in test automation.
  • Experience with code control and bug tracking tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
  • Strong understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
  • Extensive experience in API testing and automation using open-source testing frameworks like RestAssured, Karate, etc.
  • Experience of working in cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.
  • Experience in JIRA with Test Management plugins or Microfocus ALM or similar test management tools.
  • Experience with SQL, RDBMS, or NO-SQL (Mongo, Cassandra) is a plus.
  • Experience with open-source performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
