Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Northern Light Radiology Associates, Inc. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety in our radiology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs and protocols to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate both random and non-random peer review submissions.
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and assessments of clinical processes, medical records, and patient care delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
  • Analyze data and trends to track performance metrics and identify opportunities for quality enhancement.
  • Manage quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services.
  • Serve as a resource for staff education and training on quality assurance practices and standards.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance activities and accreditation surveys to maintain accreditation status.
  • Collaborate with local QA teams and participate in monthly QA meetings.
  • Communicate with hospital administration, medical staff, and regulatory agencies regarding quality assurance initiatives and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in radiologic technology or quality assurance preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • ACR RADPEER experience preferred.
