Head of Business Development, App Dev

About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to join our App Dev team in New York. As a Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of Client Partners and Account Managers to drive acquisition and same-store growth of partnerships within our Mid-Market segment.
You'll work closely with our XFN product and tech teams to represent our clients' interests and influence the future of Reddit ads. This is a unique opportunity to lead a global team within a new segment that is intertwined with the future of our ad product.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of Client Partners and Account Managers
- Build and expand your organization in smart and profitable ways
- Drive your team to exceed established revenue targets
- Collaborate with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan
- Develop senior-level relationships with key clients and agency partners
Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct people management experience in media sales
- 10+ years of experience in media sales
- Proven track record of building high-performing teams through mentorship and talent development
- Deep functional knowledge of technical attribution nuances and industry expertise
- Experience with direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to uplevel sales partnerships by accessing C-level client stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills

Salary Information:
The base pay range for this position is: $131,250-$183,750 USD per year.
