Recovery Claims Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Recovery Claims Specialist to join our team at Cozen O'Connor. The ideal candidate will have experience in property claims and be able to review complex subrogation claims to determine viability or closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze subrogation claims to determine viability or closure
- Monitor and negotiate claims with third-party liability reimbursement
- Meet goals and expectations as communicated by the Recovery Supervisor
- Communicate with claims adjusters and other entities via phone and email
- Assist with training of new associates and special projects
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Associate/Bachelor Degree required or equivalent years of industry experience
- Knowledge of insurance and subrogation law desired
- Strong analytical and communication skills, initiative, thoroughness, detail-oriented, and accuracy are a must
- Must be proactive, work well as part of a team, operate well under pressure, and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong decision-making skills
- Proficiency in IVOS, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat required
- Customer service oriented and professional demeanor required
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $75,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
