Warranty Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Warranty Claims Specialist to join our accounting and finance team at NorthStar Auto.

As a Warranty Claims Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warranty processes and procedures.

This is a full-time position with a base salary and commission structure, providing an exciting opportunity for growth within the auto industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Process warranty claims and ensure they are accurate and compliant with manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
  • Communicate with customers and manufacturers to resolve any claim discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, payments, and related documentation.
  • Review and audit warranty claims to identify any potential fraudulent activities.
  • Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure warranty repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and report on warranty claims performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Assist in training and educating staff on warranty processes and procedures.
  • Stay current on manufacturer and dealership warranty policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warranty administration role within the auto industry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer and dealership warranty policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
