At Acadia Healthcare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and are seeking an experienced Administrative Financial Support Specialist to join our team. This role will play a vital part in our insurance claims management process, ensuring that patients receive the financial assistance they need in a timely and accurate manner.



As an Administrative Financial Support Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying and interpreting insurance benefits, establishing financial arrangements with guarantors/patients, and ensuring that all billing forms are accurate and complete before submission to insurance carriers. You will also be responsible for processing claims electronically or manually with 100% accuracy, mailing claims to insurance carriers in a timely manner, and entering documentation and adjustments through our computer system to maintain a correct account balance.



You will work closely with our team to update system information according to correspondence received and processed, document any changes, and submit to the appropriate staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing charge summaries on each patient bill, identifying discrepancies with 100% accuracy, and consistently applying appropriate procedures to prevent accounts from becoming delinquent or remaining unbilled.



Initiating appropriate follow-up and collection calls will also be a key part of your role, as will reviewing remittance advice statements for payments and adjustments on a daily basis and initiating appropriate data entry for patient charge or account discrepancy on review. If a claim is denied or pending, you will investigate, resolve, and initiate information to secure reimbursement.
