Position Overview: VP of Human Resources

This role is being facilitated by Corps Team on behalf of our client. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should be prepared to relocate if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a vital member of the executive leadership team, tasked with crafting and executing a people strategy that aligns with the broader business objectives. This role encompasses all facets of human resources, including the cultivation of a positive workplace culture, management of HR operations, formulation of HR policies, and enhancement of employee relations and engagement initiatives. The primary responsibilities include:

Strategic Direction:

  • Formulate and execute a holistic HR strategy that is in harmony with the organization's mission, vision, and business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic consultant to the executive team on all human resources and organizational development matters.

Culture and Employee Engagement:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the organization's values and boosts employee engagement.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction, well-being, and work-life balance.
  • Design and implement policies and programs that foster equal opportunities and support diverse talent.

Compensation and Benefits Management:

  • Oversee the creation and management of competitive compensation and benefits structures.
  • Ensure that compensation practices are fair, transparent, and aligned with industry standards.

Compliance and Risk Oversight:

  • Guarantee adherence to all labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.

HR Operations:

  • Manage HR operations, including HRIS and employee data management.
  • Continuously enhance HR processes and systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement training and development initiatives to foster employee growth and career progression.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or SHRM are preferred.

Essential Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity, including substantial experience in start-up and high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective HR strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing organizational change and driving cultural transformation.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse workforce across various dimensions.
  • HR leadership experience in both high-growth and established organizations.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, communication, DEI advocacy, change management, and operational efficiency are essential.
  • Expertise in managing organizational change, including restructuring and mergers.
  • Track record of effectively leading HR teams and initiatives.
  • Proven success in enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent oral communication is necessary, both in person and via phone or video calls.
