Mantell Associates is collaborating with a rapidly expanding, private equity-supported pharmaceutical commercialization software firm, in search of their inaugural Human Resources manager who will report directly to the CEO and COO.

We are looking for a highly proficient and seasoned human resources expert to act as a strategic ally to the leadership team while spearheading the execution of comprehensive human resources policies, procedures, and practices across the organization. The scope of this role may evolve as the individual excels and the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Lead:

  • Serve as a vital member of a streamlined organization, overseeing all facets of HR, including but not limited to recruitment and staffing, employee benefits, adherence to domestic and international employment regulations, corporate and personnel policies, compensation strategies, employee relations, record management, and training initiatives.
  • Drive HR practices and objectives that foster a culture centered on employee engagement, high performance, empowerment, quality, and achievement of goals.
  • Attract and continually nurture a top-tier workforce that is both productive and engaged.
  • Develop and implement best practices regarding employee benefits, policies, and record management.

Qualifications for the Human Resources Lead:

  • While the company is based in Florida, there is flexibility for remote work with occasional travel required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience with a comprehensive understanding of various HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Experience in a healthcare or life sciences environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with managing an international workforce is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Professional Employer Organization (PEO) relationships and their HR software platforms, such as ADP Total Source or similar, is preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual willing to take initiative and operate as the primary human resources lead.
