Position Overview

Hybrid Promotions LLC, a leader in the apparel industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. With a rich history dating back to 1997, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach to brand and licensing management, offering comprehensive services in design, merchandising, development, sourcing, production, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage journal entries and account reconciliations during the month-end closing process.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset schedule on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate calculation and recording of depreciation expenses.
  • Act as the primary backup for Treasury operations, including daily bank statement reconciliations and preparation of retail collection reports.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of P&L historical trends, performing variance analysis against plans, forecasts, and prior year results.
  • Support external financial and bank audits, including conducting inventory valuation assessments.
  • Lead efforts in ensuring compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
  • Organize and keep financial records current and accessible.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for Financial Planning & Analysis and the Director of Accounting.
  • Address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the apparel or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
  • Possess a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking abilities and a sense of ownership.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative while knowing when to seek assistance.
  • Adaptability to changing work environments.
  • Capacity to anticipate needs and follow through efficiently.
  • Potential for leadership within the finance team by driving quality improvement initiatives.
