Position Overview: Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a skilled Controls and Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in the management and upkeep of electrical systems and instrumentation within our innovative facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot wiring and circuits.
  • Maintain and repair electrical motors and generators.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on electronic equipment, including camera systems and sensors.
  • Calibrate and service instrument transmitters.
  • Analyze and address part failures, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks related to electrical and instrumentation work.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess relevant post-secondary education or trades certification, along with substantial industrial training in the technical field. A minimum of two years of experience in maintaining industrial plant process equipment is preferred, particularly in sectors such as solid waste, wastewater, biogas, or power generation.
