Position Overview:
NXP Semiconductors is seeking a dedicated Regional Account Manager for the Southern California area, focusing on the mass market segment. This role is integral to our Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) unit, which serves as the primary market organization for NXP's diverse business units.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will:

  • Assume full business responsibility for a designated geographic area, engaging with all mass market clients across various sectors including smart home, industrial, consumer, automotive, retail, and medical.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to uncover new customer initiatives, propose tailored technical solutions utilizing NXP's offerings, and navigate negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Develop a robust account strategy to ensure consistent communication with key decision-makers, aligning with their priorities and technological needs.
  • Manage all communications with customers and facilitate internal dialogues with essential stakeholders within NXP.
  • Work closely with local field applications engineering teams and product lines to deliver exceptional technical support and responsiveness to customer requirements.
  • Engage with local distribution branches to foster relationships with end-customers, driving joint business success.
  • Be accountable for the growth of NXP's sales and new design wins within your customer portfolio, in collaboration with local distribution partners.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a Master's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor technical sales or field applications engineering.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, thriving in a dynamic technology environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new processes and tools.

Additional Information:
This role requires regular travel, including driving to various locations for meetings and customer engagements. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The position is home-based, ideally situated within the Los Angeles metro area.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is competitive, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid leave.
