About the Role
Agilent is seeking a highly motivated and competitive individual to join our inside sales team as a Biopharma Market Specialist. This role involves expanding market penetration for Agilent's chromatography and mass spectrometry portfolio in the biopharma market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales cycle and forecast sales accurately for the chromatography and mass spectrometry sales within the territory.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively prospect for new customers and business opportunities using digital tools and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consumable sales, service sales, service delivery, diagnostic and genomics sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Provide timely responses to customer requests and apply rigor to CRM updates.
- Demonstrate Agilent's Core Values, including Innovation & Contribution, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Uncompromising Integrity, Focus, Speaking up, and Accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years of life science sales experience or lab experience using liquid chromatography.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the job, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
- Experience and comfort using digital selling tools and excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office, systems, and procedures to accomplish the job.
- Experience with SAP CRM is a plus.
