The Front Office Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to all visitors while ensuring efficient operations at the reception area.
The Front Office Associate will be the initial point of contact for guests, offering a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and opportunities for career advancement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check-in guests, ensuring all required information is gathered and accurately recorded in the system
- Manage cash and credit transactions, ensuring daily cash drawer reconciliation
- Respond to phone inquiries and assist guests in a timely and professional manner
- Facilitate reservations and cancellations, ensuring compliance with hotel policies
- Act as a knowledgeable source for guests, providing insights about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Complete daily administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and report preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
- Collaborate with other hotel personnel to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred
- At least 1-2 years of front desk or customer service experience in the hospitality sector
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Familiarity with the local area and attractions is preferred
