The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Business Development to lead our revenue-driving strategic partnerships and collaborations with major pharmaceutical companies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our business development strategy, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with major pharmaceutical companies, including collaborations, partnerships, and licensing agreements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including pharmaceutical company executives, investors, and thought leaders.
  • Lead deal-making and negotiation efforts, including the development of business cases, negotiation of terms, and execution of agreements.
  • Drive the business development process to meet and exceed revenue targets through strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze competitive landscape for Earli's products and contribute key insights to development strategy.
  • Evangelize Earli's technology platform and create awareness of its capabilities and how it's different to other platforms.
  • Report industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes related to pharmaceutical partnerships to company leadership.
  • Utilize market intelligence to inform deal-making strategies and revenue generation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading business development efforts in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on collaborations, partnerships, and licensing agreements.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including pharmaceutical company executives, investors, and thought leaders.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results-oriented projects.
  • Familiarity with cancer therapeutics, immuno-oncology, molecular biology, and related technologies is ideal but not required.
