About the Opportunity: The Sr. Director, Talent Management is responsible for leading the creation and implementation of innovative, business-aligned talent practices and programs. This role is crucial for driving employee development, enhancing performance, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and executing talent management strategies in high-performing organizations and will bring a wealth of knowledge, best practices, and a strong professional network. This role will be based in Redwood City, CA.

In this role you will be responsible for: Designing, communicating and implementing comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with business objectives.
Leading the talent acquisition function to attract and select high-caliber candidates.
Creating and overseeing learning and development programs to support employee growth.
Conducting talent reviews and developing succession planning strategies in partnership with HRBP and Head of HR.
Championing DEI initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
Partner with HRBP and HR Operations to continuously improve talent management processes.
Create and manage associated metrics that measure effectiveness and drive improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include: Extensive experience in talent management, with demonstrated success in a senior leadership position.
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing talent management programs and strategies in high-growth or biotech environments.
Strong knowledge of best practices in talent management, learning and development, performance management, DEI, and talent acquisition.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

Additional experience that would be valuable for this role includes:
Proven ability to build and leverage a professional network to access relevant resources and expertise.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret talent metrics and analytics.

CODEXIS PAY TRANSPARENCY: The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City is $215,000 to $278,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Codexis is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states​.
