Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for corporate, foundation, and association relations, aligning with the university's overall development goals and objectives.
  • Prospect Identification and Cultivation: Identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts and other support from corporate, foundation, and association constituents, working closely with faculty, staff, and development colleagues.
  • Proposal Development and Coordination: Develop and coordinate proposals, reports, and other materials to support fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with university policies and procedures.
  • Relationship Building and Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporate, foundation, and association partners, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and partnership.
  • Program Management: Manage and coordinate program activities, including campus visits, outreach, and events, to support fundraising efforts and build relationships with corporate, foundation, and association partners.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university regulations and guidelines related to corporate, foundation, and association relations.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with development colleagues, faculty, and staff to achieve fundraising goals and objectives, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience in corporate, foundation, and association relations, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of success in corporate, foundation, and association relations, with expertise in strategic planning, prospect identification and cultivation, proposal development, and relationship building and management.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Strong knowledge of university policies and procedures, as well as experience working with faculty, staff, and development colleagues to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate, foundation, and association partners, stakeholders, and colleagues.
