Position Overview:
Genesis10 is seeking an experienced ETL QA Lead to oversee quality assurance efforts for our client in the financial sector. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies across various software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely defect resolution.
  • Uphold established testing quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with a focus on database technologies.
  • Experience in testing and supporting Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions, particularly with tools such as Informatica or DataStage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data/File/Database and ETL/Data Warehouse testing, with an emphasis on white box testing.
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to craft complex queries across various database systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Familiarity with UNIX and Autosys environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and issue reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and testing Informatica ETL workflows.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of databases and data warehouses, with a passion for deriving insights from raw data.
  • Experience in analyzing requirements and project documentation to create effective testing strategies.
  • Skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining test scripts.
  • Understanding of defect management processes, risk frameworks, and enterprise testing standards.
  • Ability to execute backend software testing, generate testing reports, and define test data for various scenarios.
  • Solid grasp of the software testing lifecycle, focusing on backend testing.
  • Familiarity with the banking domain, particularly treasury and payment systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to prioritize tasks and identify potential risks.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving challenges.
