Position Overview:
Genesis10 is seeking a skilled ETL QA Lead to join our esteemed client in the financial sector. This role involves overseeing the quality assurance processes for ETL workflows, ensuring high standards of data integrity and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies tailored to various software delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Collaborate with development teams and other internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, mitigate risks, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Uphold rigorous testing quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with a focus on database management.
  • Experience in testing and supporting Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions, utilizing tools such as Informatica or DataStage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data/File/Database and ETL/Data Warehouse testing, with a preference for candidates familiar with white box testing.
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to craft complex queries across various database systems, particularly Oracle.
  • Familiarity with UNIX and Autosys environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively document and convey testing-related issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing Informatica ETL workflows.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of databases and data warehouses, with a passion for deriving insights from raw data.
  • Experience in reviewing project documentation to formulate effective testing strategies.
  • Proficient in creating, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts.
  • Understanding of defect management processes, risk frameworks, and enterprise testing standards.
  • Ability to define and execute backend software testing, including the creation of testing reports and test data for various scenarios.
  • Solid grasp of the software testing lifecycle, with a focus on backend testing.
  • Exposure to the banking domain, particularly in treasury and payment systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and identify potential risks.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving requirements.
