Job Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic accounting team at National Employee Benefits Administrators, Inc. This role is essential in providing support to our accounting department, which manages employee benefit administration.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the general ledger and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Conducting data entry and preparing financial statements.
  • Interacting with both internal departments and external clients.
  • Assisting with the management of health benefit plans, including verifying eligibility and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
