Overview:

The role involves assessing and addressing the physical therapy requirements of diverse patient groups.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver educational initiatives for colleagues, interdisciplinary teams, and the local community. - Spearhead performance enhancement projects. - Conduct and document comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions. - Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and progress. - Offer insights on the selection and use of adaptive equipment and support resources. - Facilitate or assist in the discharge process from therapy services. - Acquire and apply advanced knowledge, skills, and training. - Engage actively in professional associations relevant to the discipline. - Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical expertise, professional development, patient advocacy, and community engagement. - Develop and execute a tailored care plan that addresses identified issues, specifies treatment frequency, and involves both patients and their families. - Oversee the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff.
