Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct patient care in alignment with established standards of practice and the core values of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and areas.
  • Monitoring and reporting any significant changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the nursing team.
  • Performing essential patient care tasks as directed and supervised by a registered nurse, such as:
    • Monitoring vital signs
    • Conducting EKG tests
    • Performing phlebotomy
    • Measuring blood glucose levels
    • Documenting intake and output
  • Assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and eating.

Qualifications:

Education: No formal degree required.

Certifications: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for specific units, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is necessary for pediatric areas, excluding NICU.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience is required.
