Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Operations Manager to join our team at Children's Aid. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll department, processing bi-weekly payroll for our staff, and overseeing the management of our time and attendance system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Time and Attendance Management: Oversee the management of our time and attendance system, ensuring that all hours are correct and paychecks are accurate.
  • Payroll Administration: Perform payroll administrative functions, including ensuring compliance with DOL and TMHR regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create ad hoc reports and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Seven or more years of progressively responsible payroll experience, preferably in a complex, government grant-funded not-for-profit organization.
  • Skills: Strong command of payroll technologies, including UKG Pro, Kronos, and Workforce One. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the organization's mission. Ability to work effectively in a diverse and complex environment, with a strong work ethic and professionalism.
