This position is ideal for those eager to embark on a medical career, even without prior experience. We are a dynamic organization in need of self-motivated, organized, and dependable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance information
  • Engage with patients regarding their sleep diagnosis and treatment options
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Work alongside the medical office team to streamline operations
  • Contact patients to arrange for the collection and return of sleep study equipment
  • Set up, demonstrate, and download data from home sleep testing devices
  • Communicate sleep study results to patients
  • Refer patients for therapy as prescribed by physicians, ensuring necessary documentation is sent
  • Facilitate communication between healthcare providers
  • Follow up with patients to confirm ongoing treatment for sleep apnea

We recognize that sleep medicine is a specialized area, and we are committed to providing training for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in patient communication with empathy and confidence
  • Ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals, including MAs, PAs, and MDs
  • Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes
  • Understanding of sleep disorders is advantageous
  • Experience in patient care management
  • Appointment scheduling skills
  • Proficient computer skills with a fast typing speed
  • Bilingual abilities (English & Spanish) are a plus

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
