Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist

At Medical City Dallas, we are seeking a Pediatric NICU Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care in our advanced medical environment. Role Responsibilities
The Pediatric NICU Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of patient-focused respiratory interventions. This includes performing diagnostic assessments, administering respiratory treatments, and closely monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation. Candidates must possess the required certifications and demonstrate a commitment to compassionate patient care.
Essential Qualifications:- Neonate Resuscitation certification required within the initial 30 days of employment
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) credentials
- State certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or BCLS Instructor certification required within the first 30 days of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or PALS Instructor certification required within the first 30 days of employment
