Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional therapy team. Location: Lewisville, Texas

Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Supervising/Evaluating Only

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Compensation: Up to $105,000 annually (dependent on experience, skills, location, and productivity)

Qualifications for Occupational Therapist:
  • Must meet qualifications established by AOTA or relevant professional organizations
  • Current state licensure for Occupational Therapy
  • Willingness to work in both home and clinic settings
  • Valid Driver's License and automotive insurance
  • Preferred experience in pediatric rehabilitation services
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy services as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and patient care standards
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify therapy needs and set goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care
  • Ensure patient safety and effective communication with families
  • Provide regular updates on patient progress to physicians and the healthcare team
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Capacity to travel and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform various physical activities including walking, standing, and bending
Work Environment:
Therapists may encounter diverse environments, including potential exposure to allergens and infectious materials.
