Position Overview:

As a Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional respiratory therapy services to our young patients. Your expertise will ensure that we maintain high standards of care in a supportive and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluation of breath sounds and airway conditions.
  • Administer various respiratory therapies, such as oxygen delivery and aerosol treatments.
  • Monitor patients on mechanical ventilation and respond to any emergent situations.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care tailored to the needs of neonates and children.
  • Document all procedures and patient responses accurately.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Valid Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a pediatric or NICU setting.
