Overview:

The Black Box Project Management Office (PMO) is dedicated to delivering excellence in program and project management, resource allocation, quality assurance, continuous improvement, professional development, and knowledge sharing.

Our goal is to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in program management through comprehensive design and execution within the Audiovisual sector. Daily project management activities will be conducted in alignment with Black Box PMO standards, methodologies, and systems. We emphasize structured practices to ensure that project management efforts align with organizational goals and deliver high-quality, professional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement Black Box PMO standards and methodologies consistently for project planning and execution, including:

o Fundamentals of project planning: initiation, planning, estimation, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.

o Project control essentials: monitoring progress, anticipating challenges, resolving conflicts, managing scope, schedule, costs, and quality assurance.

o Relationship management: fostering client relationships, managing project teams, and overseeing change management.

· Support proposal development and engage in contract negotiations with sales and legal teams.

· Prepare and coordinate legal documentation for contracts related to service agreements, statements of work, software licensing, and post-installation support.

· Develop a comprehensive Project Roadmap in collaboration with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on work breakdown structures, requirements management, cost estimates, milestone schedules, and risk management plans.

· Establish milestones, monitor adherence to project timelines, identify challenges, and implement solutions such as resource reallocation or adjustments to contractual specifications.

· Supervise the work of assigned personnel from technical, professional, or administrative domains.

· Oversee the delivery and execution of AV projects, balancing best practices with pragmatic methodologies to achieve KPIs and exceed business objectives and client satisfaction.

· Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding AV project activities, leading discussions on cost, schedule, and technical performance. Conduct regular reviews to address costs, schedules, risks, and client considerations.

· Drive business development initiatives or expand existing product lines with clients as appropriate. Manage customer enhancement programs, including bid estimates and management approvals.

· Communicate program status to leadership and stakeholders as necessary.

· Address project issues and risks promptly, escalating when required.

· Cultivate collaborative relationships within Black Box operations and across all organizational levels to execute project management activities effectively.

· Advocate for the continuous improvement of AV project management practices within the PMO and the organization to meet client and organizational objectives.

· Meet performance targets established by leadership for relevant Key Performance Indicators.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant AV experience.

· Preferred certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, SCRUM, or similar.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV Project Management within the technology services sector.

· Strong service orientation and understanding of the challenges in delivering superior customer experiences at a national level while managing costs.

· Exceptional collaboration and communication skills: team building, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, risk management, product management, negotiation, and decision-making.

· Proven ability to work effectively across various internal functions to optimize product offerings and enhance the customer experience.

· Demonstrated capacity to continuously expand knowledge of market trends and implement process improvements.

· Strong change management skills, with experience leading organizational change and understanding its impact on employees.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP systems, and cloud-based technologies.

· Willingness to travel as needed.
