Role Overview:
This position is responsible for delivering Tier 3 support for the audiovisual (AV) systems and infrastructure across all Children's Health locations. The role serves as an escalation point for team members facing complex AV challenges. The individual will oversee and sustain the AV infrastructure to guarantee the reliability, functionality, and daily operation of all AV equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and manage AV systems for various events, including live streams and town hall meetings.
- Conduct video recording and editing tasks.
- Facilitate remote event production using platforms like Zoom for webinars with presenters in different locations.
- Maintain servers and applications that support the AV infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and maintain internal RF and IPTV distribution systems, including TV headends from providers.
- Provide training to end-users on AV systems, ensuring clear communication of operational procedures to non-technical staff.
- Address and resolve service requests within established service level agreements, keeping customers informed of progress.
- Offer technical assistance to other IT team members and clients across various locations, including event streaming and digital signage.
- Document service requests accurately, detailing root causes, problem analysis, and resolution steps.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including escalation protocols and response times.
- Complete ongoing training as required by management.
- Be flexible with scheduling, including availability for nights and weekends as needed.
- Travel between locations to service and install equipment as necessary.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of AV connectivity and signal flow, including the impact of control systems on overall performance.
- Familiarity with Crestron, BiAmp, and QSYS products, with the ability to configure these systems.
- Knowledge of Zoom, MS Teams, and Webex administration.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong grasp of RF distribution systems for cable and satellite TV, including testing and balancing methods.
- Ability to interpret system schematics and floor plans.
- Experience in remote event production, guiding presenters on technical setups.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- Adapt to unexpected changes and challenges.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in audiovisual support or a related field (required).
- At least 2 years of experience with AV systems in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training beyond high school (required).
- Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience (preferred).

Certifications:
- QSYS Control 101 certification within one year of hire (required).
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (required).
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
