Overview

We are seeking a results-oriented project manager to enhance our team. This role involves overseeing projects that are primarily focused on line of business products, processes, or functions, while also considering potential cross-functional impacts. The project manager will act as a secondary liaison to senior management for key change initiatives and provide necessary support to team members.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business units to formulate and implement transition plans, including metrics for ongoing success to ensure the sustainability of changes. Responsibilities include analyzing current states, proposing alternative future states, and facilitating the execution of these plans.

Utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies, the project manager will plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to guarantee timely and effective completion. This includes developing and communicating risk mitigation strategies. Clear communication with managers, peers, and business partners regarding deliverables, timelines, and required support is essential.

In addition, the project manager will be responsible for maintaining project documentation and updates. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines are crucial.

Qualifications

Experience in change management is essential, particularly in developing and maintaining reporting for Change Management Dashboards, as well as weekly and monthly status updates to support release readiness. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing communicator capable of leading meetings with both senior leaders and non-leadership personnel. Attention to detail and a quick learning ability are vital.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project deliverables
  • Inform relevant stakeholders or team members about project progress
  • Guide and support project team members with assigned tasks

Essential Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of mainframe systems, microservices, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Proven experience as a PM/Delivery Lead, adept at managing large-scale technology projects with a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, particularly SDLC projects.
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with enterprise change management processes (Permits, Tollgate, Remedy) and strong governance practices.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodologies and JIRA
  • Ability to conduct meetings, manage budgets, and oversee project financials
  • Experience in Wealth Management or trading systems, specifically in managing related projects for enterprise-level clients.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Strong presentation skills in front of stakeholders.
