Position Overview

The Wireless Module Test Engineering Lead (WMTE) plays a crucial role in shaping the testing strategies for high-volume RF modules at our manufacturing partners. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our internal processes and objectives are met while delivering high-quality products. The Lead Engineer will engage in research, design, and development of testing methodologies across various wireless technologies, including Wifi, UWB, GPS, Cellular, and NFC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for wireless technologies at manufacturing facilities.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot testing stations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate testing plans with upstream and downstream processes across multiple vendors.
  • Collaborate with module vendors, fixture suppliers, and instrument providers to facilitate effective test implementation.
  • Analyze data from testing volumes to refine requirements and inform engineering decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Matlab, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment and high-volume automatic test equipment (ATE) like LitePoint, Advantest, and Teradyne.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and decision-making among various testing teams.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of leading vendors and partners in developing effective testing strategies.
  • Expertise in hardware and software integration, problem-solving, and optimization.
  • Experience in data analysis and yield optimization, with familiarity in tools like JMP being advantageous.
  • Skilled in the design, validation, and debugging of Device Under Test (DUT) control boards.
