Position Overview:
The primary role of a Test Engineer is to investigate and evaluate the design, functionality, and upkeep of products, systems, and processes while establishing quality benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hands-on testing and calibration of 2D or 3D camera modules, ensuring accurate characterization.
  • Develop and implement standards and methodologies for inspection, testing, and evaluation, leveraging expertise in fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and execute end-to-end test setups, including data collection and analysis to establish testing specifications and validation processes.
  • Enhance test coverage by designing laboratory and factory tests, incorporating metrology and algorithm development.
  • Perform module-level failure analysis.
  • Review and endorse sampling procedures, designs, forms, and instructions for documenting, assessing, and reporting quality and reliability metrics.
  • Experience in end-to-end production testing is advantageous, covering the spectrum from prototype builds to mass production.

Required Skills:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis using Python or Matlab.
  • Experience in test automation utilizing Python or Matlab.
  • Background in image processing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of signal processing for depth measurement systems is beneficial.

Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar technologies.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the bring-up and debugging of electronic devices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in statistical data analysis.
