Position Summary
The Wireless Module Test Engineering Lead (WMTE) plays a crucial role in formulating and executing testing strategies for high-volume RF modules at manufacturing facilities. This position requires a deep understanding of various wireless technologies, including Wifi, UWB, GPS, Cellular, and NFC. The Lead Engineer will collaborate with multiple chipset vendors to devise effective testing methodologies that align with our internal objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies across various wireless technologies.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot testing stations at manufacturing sites.
  • Coordinate wireless module testing schedules with upstream and downstream testing processes at different vendors.
  • Engage with module vendors, fixture suppliers, and instrument manufacturers to ensure successful test execution.
  • Analyze testing data to refine requirements and provide insights for engineering decisions.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Matlab, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment and high-volume automatic test equipment (ATE) such as LitePoint, Advantest, and Teradyne.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership skills to guide vendors and testing partners.
  • Expertise in hardware and software integration, problem-solving, and optimization.
  • Experience in data analysis and yield assessment, with familiarity in tools like JMP being advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable in the design, validation, and debugging of Device Under Test (DUT) control boards.
