Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Sales Consultant to join Orora Packaging Solutions. In this capacity, you will spearhead sales initiatives, interact with clients, and deliver customized solutions that promote growth. Collaboration with internal departments is essential, as is a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences that cultivate enduring relationships.

  • This role will report to the Sales Manager
  • Travel Requirement: 80%
  • FLSA Status: Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

As a Packaging Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be on marketing packaging solutions through a comprehensive approach. This includes initiating contact with potential clients, establishing new business relationships, and working closely with internal teams to provide all-encompassing packaging solutions.

  • Enhancing revenue and profitability by securing new business and growing existing accounts
  • Developing sales strategies to stimulate growth within accounts
  • Generating leads through various channels and understanding client needs for tailored proposals
  • Independently negotiating pricing and services based on proposal configurations
  • Managing order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
  • Providing insights on sales activities, trends, and market dynamics
  • And other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or customer service

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to forge strong client relationships
  • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer applications and client presentations
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Familiarity with packaging materials and production processes
  • Analytical mindset for economic decision-making
  • Team-oriented with a basic understanding of packaging design and production
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and essential business competencies
