Position Summary:

The Estimator and Sales Consultant will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure accurate project estimations regarding costs, revenues, and necessary materials. Responsibilities include completing estimating tasks promptly, gathering job-related information, and independently creating estimates for smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate preliminary cost estimates for required materials and services, formulate pricing schedules, create bid proposals, and evaluate the technical requirements of each project.
  • Visit job sites to engage with clients, assess needs, and analyze conditions while providing recommendations to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the parking areas.
  • Extract data from existing systems and establish processes to enhance and monitor the information used for estimating and operational purposes.
  • Become acquainted with all administrative tasks related to estimating.
  • Continuously expand knowledge about the company through interactions with key personnel, including Leadership and Production Managers/Foremen, and enhance understanding of all production facets.
  • Assess processes and workflows that may improve various operational areas within the organization. Provide recommendations to the Senior Estimator and implement requested processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in contract estimating or management is advantageous; similar experience will be considered.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in construction and contracts is preferred.
  • A valid and active Driver's license is required for this role.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk job sites with clients, including multi-level parking structures.
  • Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to fifteen pounds as needed.
