Job Summary:

The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating data science research projects, organizing and maintaining computational and clinical operating procedures, and coordinating communications for the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple large and smaller complex projects simultaneously.
  • Partner with sponsors and team leaders to strategize team project plans, focusing on critical success factors, project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Lead project team meetings, including a review of action plans and tracking of project milestones.
  • Update action plans weekly and prompt accountable individuals to ensure timely task completion.
  • Design communication strategies for project progress and ensure timely and consistent communication of project priorities, status, timelines, and deliverables to the user community.
  • Design data collection methods and data analyses to support team efforts and interpret and report data to a variety of audiences.
  • Ensure appropriate project prioritization and requests for resources and ensure projects are appropriately managed and delivered on time, within budget, to meet the strategic and operational needs of the department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
  • 3-5 years related work experience required; Project Management experience required.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, and other web-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in meeting facilitation and the ability to lead group discussions.
