Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Developer to become a vital part of our Engineering team. This role is pivotal in the design and architecture of systems, focusing on the development of high-quality functionalities that enhance customer experience. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and strategic vision in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of both existing and new services across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Create reusable frameworks and components to support global delivery needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive REST API documentation utilizing Swagger and ensure design documentation is up to date.
  • Engage in quality assurance testing and validation for modifications or enhancements prior to customer release.
  • Identify and resolve issues, debugging codebases effectively.
  • Work with the AWS cloud platform, including EKS.
  • Enhance and maintain existing codebases, conducting peer reviews of code changes.
  • Adopt new technologies, tools, and processes as required by the organization.
  • Ensure API layer security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling are effectively implemented.
  • Collaborate with leads and team members to achieve all project deliverables and milestones.
  • Foster effective communication with team members and suppliers, promoting collaborative work.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in one or more programming languages, particularly Golang (minimum 4-6 years), Java, or Node.js.
  • Proficient in cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service.
  • Strong understanding of clean architecture, API design, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in navigation systems for automotive multimedia.
  • Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Go Lang and AWS cloud experience is essential. Candidates who began their careers with Java or other languages but have recent experience in Golang are also encouraged to apply.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite work.
  • Experience with data structures, API integration, backend exposure, server integration, and business specifications is necessary.
  • Interview process includes a maximum of two rounds via MS Teams, each lasting 30 minutes.
